Classic & Period Looks
Here I will present my Classic glam look, and my 1920s period looks. I will show the differences in my verity of 1920s looks as well.

Classic Glam
In this classic glam look, I show a smokey eye with neutral tones. These colors look well with my eye color. The browns make my eyes look bluer instead of grey blue.

Origins of 1920s
This examples of 1920s look is where I take a combination of the most popular aspects of there make up to make a base line of a 1920s look. I did this look multiple times a few years apart from each other.

Origins of 1920s
Here is the newer example of this style. You can see the improvements in shape, the eyes and cheeks become rounder, and the eyebrows become slimmer. You will also see me use more saturated colors. This lip color is a brighter red. Then the eyeshadow is a darker grey.

Stylized 1920s
For these looks I took the character they were playing in Cabaret, by Kander and Ebb, and I found colors that expressed their best personality while also complementing their eye color and undertones. I chose specific shapes of different 1920s looks to express personality as well.
I also chose 1920 celebrity's that I thought each character would admire, then base there make up off of them. That was a common thing that people did in the 1920 so I wanted a little realism with some exaggeration.
For Sally I chose Clara Bow with her dramatic style. For Emcee I chose Lil Dagover for her edgy and sculpted look. Lastly for Kost I chose Anita Berber for her expression of her sexuality.
